SILENT SKY BY LAUREN GUNDERSON

January 11-27, 2019

Lauren Gunderson's historical drama brims with hope and discovery. I portray Margaret Leavitt, a woman of the early 1900s whose faith-and-family values are sometimes at odds with her sister Henrietta's choice to remain single, travel to Boston, and become an astronomer at Harvard--or at least one of the female "computers" the university employs. An ode to trailblazers and sisterhood, Silent Sky will run for three weekends at Theatre Jacksonville this January.
